Michel put an enormous amount of time and hard work into building the four lakes and stocking them with tonnes of fish including roach, tench, pike, all types of carp and freshwater bass.
Now you can enjoy the benefits of all this hard work.
Please roll over the small pictures below to tour the lakes.
The stock pond. The picture shows a sluice gate which enables us to drain the lake if need be. For the future, this stock pond will hold roach over the three pound mark.
The bottom lake is just under 5 acres in size and has depths varying between 0.5 metres and 3 metres.
The second lake. This is under 5 acres in size and holds carp, roach and tench. In the future there will be log cabins built here for anglers to use.
The top lake. This lake was the original spring fed one which now feeds the other three via sluice gates. This lake has plenty of carp, roach, big pike, perch and freshwater bass.
Michel planted and lovingly nurtured the 30,000 Canadian Pine Trees surrounded by 5 kilometres of fencing on 76 acres of land.
There have been rumours however of fish weighing 25 kilos plus in the bottom lake and 14 kilo plus pike in the top lake!
